URSPERG ABBEY
"This abbey, which was founded in 1125, and is of the Præmonstratensian order, lies in the diocese of Augsburg, near where the rivers Kimblach and Mindell fall into the Danube. The abbot has seat and vote among the prelates in the diets of the empire and circle. His assessment to the empire is thirty florins, and to the imperial chamber thirty-two two rix-dollars. The territory belonging to the abbey consists of a few villages." (Smollett, p. 165)
